"Remember, happiness doesn't depend on who you are or what you have; it depends solely on what you think."
Dale Carnegie
1888-1955, Writer and Lecture
This is one of the quotes that really got me started on my journey of personal and professional success at a very ripe age of 19! Since then I have never looked back! It truly was the book by Napoleon Hill, Think and Grow Rich, that genuinely inspired me to utilize the best piece of real estate I own....guess what that is!? If you said your brain, then you got it right! That really sunk deep inside my being, quite deep actually! Since then I have been doing my best to surround myself with inspiring people, inspiring thoughts, inspiring events/people/places and the list goes on! I have found that it makes the most profound difference when I continually ensure that my surroundings are motivating and inspiring!
So my question to you is this, what can you do TODAY to increase the inspiration in your life!? Consider signing up for the Thought for the Day from the Napoleon Hill Foundation at http://www.naphill.org/tftd/join.asp I have been getting these little "TFTD's" sent to my inbox for over 3 years! When you come into Pinacle Health & Fitness club, you will see them in the bathrooms, in the main entrance and quotes around our club to keep our members and clients motivated and inspired each and every time they come into our club! One of our core values as a company is to have more than just a "workout" or "training" experience!
I will leave you today, with one of my favorite "TFTD" that I have yet received! Feel free to read it twice, or even three times! Your future will never be the same!
YOU WILL NEVER BE GREATER THAN THE THOUGHTS THAT DOMINATE YOUR MIND.
If it's true that you become what you think about most, it follows that the quantity and quality of success you achieve in your life will be in direct proportion to the size of your thoughts. If you allow your mind to be dominated by trivial matters, your achievements are likely to be unimportant. Discipline yourself to think about important things. Keep up with what's new in your field and with what's goin on in the world. Make a list of good ideas that you can use anytime you are searching for a creative solution to a problem. Remember, small minds think about things, and great minds think about ideas.
